Impacted FL-IX peering During the maintenance traffic will be moved to other paths. Ports and BGP can go down. No changes are needed from your end. When the maintenance has been completed traffic will return to the interfaces at Miami. Amazon uses automated processes to handle these things. They did reach out earlier in the day and they are aware that everything is stable. I'd give them a bit of time. They're not the only ones still down as well. I've reached out to everyone. Amazon (AS16509) problem in FL-IX

Hello all, I have already contacted Amazon on the contact they have on peering db about the issue, but I have received no response so I though I should send the problem here as well. After FL-IX incident earlier, our peerings with Amazon are down in FL-IX and they cannot be reached on the FL-IX LAN. Traffic from Amazon reaches our network via a limited capacity transit currently and causes congestion and quality issues. Is anyone from Amazon available here? Community IX 2023 General Meeting announcement

Hello Community IX members, Community IX will hold its 2023 Annual General Meeting on Monday, February 13, 2023 from 11:55am until 12:30pm at the Atlanta Marriott Marquis, Room A704, 265 Peachtree Center Ave NE, Atlanta, Georgia. For those attending NANOG 87, this is on the Atrium level at the host hotel. The Board will present an update on the organization and finances, as well as updates on the growth and improvements at the FL-IX and CIX-ATL exchanges, and future plans. Non-members are welcome to attend, and you do not need to be a NANOG attendee to attend the AGM. Community IX will also be at the NANOG Peering Coordination Forum from 5:00-6:30pm on Monday, and are co-sponsoring the Monday evening Social. See you in Atlanta. Planned server maintenance, Thursday December 1st

Hello FL-IX Members, Starting at 18:00 EST (23:00 UTC) Thursday December 1st, we will be conducting server maintenance. It is expected to last four hours. RS01 (206.41.108.4 and 2001:504:40:108::1:4) will be taken offline for updates. BGP sessions to it will drop, but RS02 will remain up. Once RS01 has fully recovered and all BGP sessions have been established, RS02 (206.41.108.5 and 2001:504:40:108::1:5) will be taken offline for updates. BGP sessions to it will drop, but RS01 will remain up. If you peer with both route servers, you should see no impact to your traffic. We will also use this opportunity to update my.fl-ix.net.
