NOTE: We’ve corrected the error related to the Looking Glass and now we’ve rescheduled the maintenance below for Monday, June 24th, 2024 at 11am Eastern Time.
Hello FL-IX Members,
To accommodate the continuing growth of the IX, we’re in the final stages of migrating IX services to the new Dell servers we installed last year. The last of these services to move are our route servers that many of our members utilize to exchange prefixes.
If you are properly configured to utilize both servers (206.41.108.4 and 206.41.108.5 in IPv4; 2001:504:40:108::1:4 and 2001:504:40:108::1:5 in IPv6), this migration should not impact your network. We will take down one server at a time, bring up the new server, and ensure that all the sessions that were previously connected come back up. After some time to ensure all members have received and processed the routing table, we will then move on to the second server.
Based on our past experience and confidence in this migration, we’d like to conduct this maintenance on Monday, June 24th, 2024 at 11am ET.
