Greetings FL-IX Members,

On Thursday, September 17^th, 2026 at 1am EDT, FL-IX will be performing OS upgrades on all switches due to numerous security advisories released today by our switch vendor. We will also take this time to switch to Multi-Agent Model on those switches still operating in Ridb Model, which will allow us to complete our transition to EVPN.

If you are multihomed within a data center to FL-IX, we will upgrade one switch at a time to try to minimize disruption.

Prior to reloading each switch, we will block BGP traffic as described in BCP 214. Sessions will re-establish after the affected switch returns. No action is required on your part.

The maintenance period will be from 1am EDT - 4am EDT.
