FL-IX / CIX-ATL Members,
Just a quick update that the route with the malformed attribute has been filtered about 40 minutes ago and sessions appear stable again.
We are looking into this further to see how this can be mitigated in the future and will have updates once we have a solution available.

Subject: Some v6 Peering Sessions down with FL-IX and CIX-ATL route servers
Greetings FL-IX and CIX-ATL Members,
We are investigating an issue with a number of IPv6 peering sessions that are down with our route servers.
What we are receiving from the member routers on these downed sessions is “Received: Malformed attribute list”.
A common thread appears to be that all the downed sessions are from Juniper routers. We’re still verifying this, but that seems to be the pattern thus far.
Once I have some more information, I will update the mailing list.
