On Wednesday, 3 January 2018, between 7am and 11am Eastern time, we will be upgrading the OS and BIRD BGP daemon on both route servers, one at a time.

This upgrade is a prerequisite for adding support for BGP Large Communities (RFC 8092).

As every member currently connected has sessions to both route servers, there will be no loss in forwarding and no action is required on your part.

You'll notice sessions to each route server drop and recover during the maintenance.
